John Smoltz will make his Red Sox debut tonight in Washington against youngster Jordan Zimmerman. This is a game that Sox fans have been looking forward to for some time, but we should not look to into it if he gives up three runs tonight. After all, the man is 42 years old, and anyone has a hard time coming back form a shoulder surgery at any age.
But no matter what tonight will surely be a night to remember for Sox fans young and old.
